Open houses at up to twelve member wineries, some seldom open to the public. Access to wine caves and wine cellars as well as food and wine pairing. For additional fees the event offers a wine tasting seminar and evening food event at the Stag's Leap Manor House.

June 7 -8, 2008, Weekend passes $65, $45 for Sunday only. Sonoma County, Alexander Valley: Taste of the Valley Weekend, Alexander Valley Winegrowers, 1-888-AV-WINES. The weekend event includes wine tasting at more than 25 wineries, food, live music, special wine offers. There is a reduced fee for designated drivers and an additional fee for the dinner held the Friday night prior.

Auugust 15-17, 2008 Sonoma County – Russian River Valley: 13th Annual Grape to Glass Weekend, Russian River Valley Winegrowers. This is an event filled weekend with further details coming when the tickets are available for sale in the May timeframe.

866-355-WINE. Includes access to fourteen wineries complete with tours, food and wine pairings, music and art shows.

Tasting Events
Many wine regions use a little different take on the winery tour weekend, and offer the tasting of their wines in one central location, usually accompanied by food and some type of entertainment and/or art show. One great example of this is Zin Fest in Lodi where the local winery association offers tasting of many of the area’s best Zinfandels, as well as other wines, at Lodi Lake Park. In addition to the wines from roughly 50 wineries the event offers music and entertainment, cooking and tasting demonstrations, hands on wine blending and food for sale supplied by local restaurants, all in a great park setting.

(209) 754-2603. Held in the historic town of Murphys, the participant strolls the streets of town tasting food and wines at numerous locations. There will be a silent auction held at the event as well.
